Ljublijana
Our guide Honza announced that we would be making an unscheduled visit to Lubliana! What a delight. We spent a half day exploring the beautiful capitol of Slovenia, with it's delightful architecture, sculptures, shops and bakeries. It was the home of the visionary artist and city planner Jože Plečnik. It is said that Plečnik had as big an influence on Ljublijana as Antonio Gaudi did in Barcelona.
